Hotel Palcich is located right along the main road leading to Plitvice Lakes, boasting a modern exterior and a newly constructed facility. Its proximity to the lakes provided us with a very positive experience, both in terms of the hotel itself and its restaurant.

The Hotel
At the reception, an exceptionally friendly, polite, and always smiling young man greeted us who spoke perfect English.
Our room on the third floor faced east, offering a breathtaking view of the lush, rolling landscape from its spacious terrace.Although there was a kettle, tea, and a small fridge available to us, we missed having some morning coffee for complete comfort.
We enjoyed the magical sight of the sunrise directly from the comfort of our bed, providing a truly luxurious experience.
The room’s was beautiful, genuine oak everywhere and elegant furniture, while the bathroom, with its window and natural lighting, was not only spacious and clean but also truly tasteful. Our bed was unexpectedly large and comfortable, ensuring restful sleep.
A family with three teenagers in the neighboring room inquired worriedly if they were making too much noise. But we heard nothing thanks to the room’s excellent sound insulation – the silence was perfect.
The hotel tempted us with a charming small indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, where lemon water, towels, and robes were complimentary. What a pleasant surprise contrary to what was mentioned on the website. The place was indeed tasteful, clean, and had a pleasant atmosphere, unlike some online reviews suggested.
The hotel’s restaurant is cozy and tastefully decorated. Also a large outdoor terrace that provides a special setting for dining on warm evenings. The restaurant’s menu is excellent, with friendly and professional service, and the dishes represent true five-star quality. One of the best dining experiences in the area. Staying here without trying the restaurant would be a big mistake. It’s a perfect choice in terms of price-quality ratio.
There is also a wine-tasting corner, offering a perfect backdrop for romantic evenings or friendly chats.
Despite being located by the road, the excellent window insulation completely blocks out any noise from the outside world, ensuring peace and quiet.

It’s just a stone’s throw from the entrances to Plitvice Lakes, especially close to Entrance 1. By car, it’s just a few minutes away. A small shopping center can also be found a few hundred meters from the accommodation, so if we need anything, it’s easy to obtain.
